Expanding airshafts with keys
They are specially suitable if operating with one only roll min. 400 mm wide, to transmit high torque or when large web areas are required. Thanks to our exclusive gripping system, the bladder can be easily replaced after disassembling the journals. No special tooling is needed. Expansion is allowed by inflating a single bladder that pushes the keys outward and grips the rolls.
- The central body can be made of steel or aluminium, while expanding keys are available both in rubber and aluminium
- All zinc-plated steel journals are manufactured according to customer’s drawing
- Our steel models are made with min. diam. 12 mm and rubber keys.
- Our standard sizes are listed in the chart. Other sizes are available on request.
