Mechanical and pneumatic rotating safety chucks
Gero safety chucks are designed to rewind/unwind material in rolls by using expanding airshafts; they allow to load/unload the material more easily without having to move the airshaft directly.
Two models are available: a tilting safety chuck (for max. speed 100 m/min.) and a sliding safety chuck (for higher speed conditions).
Several tilting and sliding models are available to suit different loads.
Our sliding safety chucks have an automatic safe closure. This system ensures the highest safety features should the operator overlook the closure of the safety chuck.
